Armstrong Comebackarrows

Lance ArmstrongLance Armstrong is returning to professional road racing. VeloNews.com reported Sept. 8 that the seven-time Tour de France champion was planning a comeback. On Sept. 9, Armstrong released the following statement: “I am happy to announce that after talking with my children, my family and my closest friends, I have decided to return to professional cycling in order to raise awareness of the global cancer burden." Armstrong said he intends to race the 2009 Tour de France — for the win.
